When I saw my two daughters playing traditional Indian games"from
Snake and ladderfrom
“I realized at every step that this game has striking similarities with the journey of our lives. This game can teach us a lot of lessons, including how to perform the biggest game in our hands, “our own life”.
Let me give you some background about this game, just for those unfortunate souls who have never played this classic game in childhood, then I will share the way I look at the game from a life perspective and what I have learned from it.
About the game
Snakes and Ladders are traditional Indian board games that almost every family has ever played. Today it is considered a global classic. The historical version of the game is designed to teach players ethics courses and show the similarities between games and life and their teachings. A player's rise from 1 to 100 represents a journey of life, while snakes and ladders represent the habits and virtues of the journey.
This is my learning of this game. Some of these studies have historically been conducted in the manner recorded here, and most of them are based on my own personal experiences in life to date.
 Virtue and vices
The game has been explained and used as a tool to teach the effects of good and bad things. Ladders represent virtues such as generosity, faith, and humility, while snakes represent bad habits such as desire, anger, murder, and theft. Just like in life, the game shows that the number of ladders is always smaller than the number of snakes, which reminds people that a good road is more difficult to trample than a sinful road. Still, stick to this,
 Life is double
One of the biggest implications of the game is the two things that are constant, up and down, good and evil, Alpha & Omega, day and night, and so on. Life does not mean unilateral things. You will face good times and bad times. You will face ups and downs. Just like a ladder [snake] and a snake [below], you will encounter the good and evil around you. When you experience a beautiful journey of life, you will also do the right and wrong things. Life is twofold. Accept it and you will be able to live happily. If today, things are not going your way [you may have encountered more snakes], this is part of the game. You must stay focused and move on. You will soon catch a ladder. keep going.
 Determine your goal
The goal in the game is pre-determined for you. Obviously, to win, you need to reach 100. The person who plays the game may have realized that we stayed in the game with a focus of 100, despite any steps or being stung by any snake. No matter what happens to our competitors in the game, we will continue to be very focused to reach the 100 challenge, not to be caught in any snake bite.
This is how a bigger game [life] should live. First, you should determine the goals of your life before you go out to do other things. For many people, this is the toughest thing, and most of us struggle to find life goals until the end of life. I always advise my readers to stop doing other things before finding the purpose of their lives. Living a life without a clear purpose is like playing a snake and ladder game without knowing that your mission is to reach 100 years old. Unless you have already defined your purpose in life, everything you do today is useless.
If you work hard in a vicious circle and are part of a so-called mouse race, and you are not sure how you will find time to identify or pursue your real life goals, you can adjust the process of my adaptation a few years ago. First try to be free to do what you do today economically. Post your financial freedom, you can win time for you, and then you can truly achieve your life goals. Let financial freedom be one of the most important steps in your life game to achieve your ultimate goal or pursue your passion for life.
 Focus on the target
Once the purpose is determined, all daily behaviors are aligned with life goals. You must focus on the ultimate goal, which will drive your daily actions to ensure they are aligned with the purpose. If the things you encounter every day are inconsistent with the purpose of your life, then start thinking and find ways to slowly eliminate them from your life.
Be modest but never give up.
Don't underestimate those who are less fortunate than you. Everything you have today is temporary and can be destroyed in a fraction of a second. Thank you for everything you have. Again, don't give up when you fall. try again. This is not what you did in the game. Look forward again, rejuvenate and return to the top again. This is how life should live. Never give up on life.
 Accept the result
Regardless of the outcome [win or lose], accept it gracefully. Don't be too elated, on the other hand, don't lose motivation because of failure. Everything is temporary, and life should be both. This is also the spirit of sports. Losing motivation is not an excuse for not playing anymore. Convert your negative results to positive energy, counterattack again and reach the peak.
 Have patience
Patience is another virtue we can learn from this game. You may fail. You may be the last one, but if you stay patient and continue to do the right thing, you may soon be amazed at how quickly life can give you back, just as it happens in this game. Therefore, be patient, continue to do the right thing, don't distract, worry or lose motivation. Life will turn… again. Give it a chance and continue on the right path.
 Keep moving forward
At the end of the day, the number of ladders or snakes you face in your life won't determine your destiny. Has anyone won this game just because he or she has more ladders? No, your future in life games depends on one thing, only one thing – "sports." Just keep moving forward. Don't stop at the foot of the snake and throw away the scorpion. Go ahead. Get up again and move on. You may want to pause for a moment to charge the battery, or even cry a little, but then move on. Learn your mistakes or misfortunes on the road – until you reach the finish line as an experienced winner.
 Enjoy life
According to me, this is the most important lesson among all of them. Never be too eager to reach the end of the game. Enjoy a lucky break, but be aware that stable patches and snakes will prevent us from reaching the end quickly and adding fun to our game. Enjoy the journey of this game, twists, snakes and ladders. In the end, everyone will reach the ultimate goal – sooner or later. Become a good player and make the most of all your journeys. Enjoy and cherish every moment of your life.
