My name is Amber Loftis and I am super excited to do a show with you! I have been participating in Theatre since the bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed age of 14. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, I was lucky enough to attend the Department of Theatre and Dance where I received a BFA in Theatre Studies. That means I went to college to be a theatre teacher! Which means I love to teach theatre and make art with students of all ages. I moved to New Orleans from Austin, TX about 2 years ago. While in Austin, I was the Director of Theatre at a middle school in Round Rock, TX for 4 years. I built the program from the ground up and was completely responsible for all curriculum, shows and department business. But, enough about that. Is it summer yet?! I can’t wait to get started!
