He is also fortunate enough to have studied with legendary jazz drummer, Victor Lewis and many other prestigious professors at Mason Gross. Currently, Dominic leads his visions with his group, "The Dom Palombi Project" ranging in originals, popular tunes, and "funkifying" classic jazz standards.Lindsay Pordraza had this to say last year at the final concert of the Boysie Lowery Living Jazz Residency 2015 in Wilmington, Delaware mentioning Dominic's composition "Nothing But The Truth": "Each composition was commendable, but "Nothing But The Truth", composed by drummer Dominic Palombi, brought down the house. If there's such a thing as rock 'n' roll in jazz, this was it. One woman felt the beat so strongly she got up from her seat to dance. If I had it on ITunes I'd probably play it every morning as a pump-up song" (Town Square Delaware Blog)
