PhD Online Information Sessions
The PhD in Education is a rigorous program designed to prepare students for careers as educational researchers, scholars, and teachers and involves intensive coursework in education and educational research.  The on-campus doctoral program is open to applicants who have demonstrated intellectual capacity and critical thinking skills as well as who exhibit a high potential for research and scholarship.This is a full-time highly competitive program which is small by design, admitting approximately 6-8 students per cohort. If admitted, students work on research or teaching assistantships that provide a generous stipend, tuition remission, and a health insurance subsidy.PhD concentration areas include Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education or Educational Leadership and Policy with options in Global and International Education, Creativity and Innovation, Higher Education Educational Policy, Human Resource Development, Educational Administration, and Special Education.
