If your website needs some help generating traffic, increasing engagement and time on site, or driving customers further down the conversion funnel, SEO 101 is the class for you. In this class, you will learn about Search Engine Optimization and how to implement SEO marketing strategies on your own website or blog to increase its ranking in Google. Learn how you can out-rank your competition in search engines and drive more traffic to your site. Whether you are a blogger, small business owner, or website manager, learning how to remain competitive in an incredibly cut throat market is crucial in order to succeed in the digital space. Become an SEO master, and learn how to employ digital marketing strategies across your website! Class Goals: Topics covered will include – search engine optimization – digital marketing strategies – basic data analytics – content marketing – technical website analysis and auditing skills.  Prerequisites: Students must be at least 18 years of age. In order to be eligible for this class, you must own, manage, or write for a website, online publication, or blog. The ideal candidate would have a website that he/she would like to see move closer to the top of Google's search engine results pages in order to generate more traffic, online engagement, account opens, sales, etc.  Materials: Bring a laptop or sign up for a desktop ticket.  Class Minimum:  This class will not run with fewer than 5 students.  Instructor Biography: Leo Rubini graduated from Tulane University in 2015, and has since become an expert in the SEO field. He moved from New Orleans to Boston after a a year of working for a marketing agency focusing on helping small businesses across the country improve their SEO presence, and saw incredible success for these mom and pop shops from a digital marketing and business perspective. Leo now works for Fidelity Investments as an SEO Analyst, and oversees Fidelity's SEO efforts.
