Box out every opportunity that you can. If you do not box out, you are going to find yourself sitting warmly on the bench after every break. When the rebound is there, take charge and get the coach’s attention with your awesome skill. Work this out in practice and apply it during the game.

Improve your basketball skills by incorporating strength training into your fitness regimen. Stamina and physical strength are required for basketball excellence.     When shooting, try to keep your nerves under control. Maintain focus on the basket. In particular, train your eyes to move to the back of the rim when you are shooting. However, if you are going in for the lay-up, move your eyes to the area of the backboard that you need to bank the ball off of.
